Welcome to BYU Sport Nuts — your daily fix of BYU Cougars sports, built for the people who actually live and die with the Cougars.

We are an independent, unofficial fan site. That matters. The goal is to cover BYU sports with a fan voice while staying careful about rights and accuracy: no official BYU logos as our identity, no copied photos, no republished written bios, and no pretending we are affiliated with the university. We use public facts, our own analysis, and trademark-safe original visuals.

The site started with football because that is where the weekly demand is loudest: the 2026 schedule, last season’s scores, a full searchable roster, and a stat-rich page for every player. No heavy iframes, no paywall — just the numbers and the names, the way fans want them.

What’s here today

  • Player pages for the entire football roster — measurables, hometown, class, and career stats with game logs for the players we track.
  • Schedule & scores — the full 2026 slate, matchup pages, and the 12-2 run from last year.
  • Leaderboards — rushing, passing, receiving, tackles, sacks, interceptions, and more from the football data layer.
  • Facts-only roster hubs for more BYU sports, including men’s basketball, women’s volleyball, women’s soccer, and baseball.

Those sport pages are intentionally conservative at launch. They list factual roster fields and use generated visuals, not official photos or scraped bios. That gives fans useful pages now and gives the site a safe path to add schedules, stats, previews, and recaps sport by sport.

That approach also makes the site easier to trust. When a page is only a roster, it should say so. When a story is analysis, it should link the source material and add something beyond a rewritten headline. The internet has plenty of noise; BYU fans deserve pages that are useful, clear about what is known, and quick to update when better facts arrive.

What we’re building next

The launch roadmap is simple: make BYU easier to follow every day.

First, we will keep building utility pages that fans search for in the moment: how to watch each football game, kickoff times, TV and streaming updates once networks announce them, scores, recaps, roster movement, and depth-chart context. Those pages should be fast, factual, and refreshed instead of rebuilt from scratch every week.

Second, we will publish original analysis around the year-round stories BYU fans actually talk about: recruiting, transfer portal fits, NIL context, basketball roster construction, women’s sports, rivalry week, and the small personnel notes that decide games before they become box scores.

Third, we want the newsletter to become the habit. The Cougar Report will be the inbox version of the site: scores, links, roster context, and the one stat or storyline that matters. Start with subscribing up top and we will earn the right to show up more often.

How to use the site

If you are here for football, start at Cougar Football HQ and work from the schedule or roster. If you are here for basketball, start with the men’s basketball roster and the latest analysis. If you follow every sport, use the Sports menu and expect those hubs to get deeper over time.

We are here for one reason: to make following the Cougars a little more fun, a little more useful, and a lot easier to do without chasing twelve tabs. Go Cougars. 🤍💙
